Hi everybody!

So our hiatus was actually supposed to begin on May 29, but things got held up a bit, so now the hiatus dates are June 1 to June 12. REQUESTS WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE TIME BEING. If you have requested a few days prior to today, it will not appear on the status page, but it is processed. Requests (unless previously discussed with the staff member fulfilling said request) will NOT be posted on this site until the end of the hiatus.

I'm really sorry for the really slow activity here at Caramelesque and I take full responsibility for it. I'm currently working off of 2 large coffees trying to stay up to finish all of my work. It's getting hectic and I don't want Caramelesque to suffer even more for it. For now, I can only apologize a million times over for the lateness of your requests and the really bad administration ):

The staff members still remain as flawless as ever so they deserve a small break too.

This wasn't what I had in mind for a new post, but I've been tagged by superseoul11 so I supposed I'll do it.

Here are the rules.

1. I am one of those (90%) hardcore Harry Potter fans. If we're talking in terms of fandoms, put Harry Potter against any artist, band, idol group, actor, actress, and I will choose Harry Potter.
2. I own a wand. Yes, a wand.
3. I play field hockey.
4. I love writing and am actually working to write a novel. I'm still into the brainstorm process, but I'm just itching to start writing.
5. I love food, I'm quite the pig.
6. I currently have seven piercings, do I plan on getting more? We'll see, but I keep telling my parents that "No, no, seven is the last one!" But now I'm thinking of getting an industrial piercing, but I'm in no rush.
7. I tap dance, which means that yes, I do own tap shoes.
8. I am probably the definition of procrastination. For example, this is the last week to hand in certain things, and I'm here typing up this post and a number of other things.
9. I have no problem watching horror movies at a friend's house or my own, but I can NEVER watch it on the big screen. Why is that, I don't really know.
10. I like needles.

And this is the part where I tag ten people right? Well it seems that this meme has gotten around so far already and it looks like almost everyone has done it. So to avoid the hassle of accidentally re-tagging somebody, I tag whoever hasn't done this yet!

HELLO DEAR ONES!

So I'd like to apologize as admin/webmiss to all staff and requesters. I've been doing a bad job at updating this site and I'm sure you're all questioning how reliable we are as of now. I can reassure you that the staff are all dedicated and that they are all able to fulfill your requests as well as they can, surpassing expectations. However, I am the one at fault for not being able to get these requests where they need to be on time. School's absolutely chaotic, what with exams steadily drawing nearer and people scrambling to get there work in and such - nonetheless, I'll do my best to balance it all.

A few updates:

* The purpose of this feedback page is for you - the requester - to comment on how you think this site is doing, what we can do to improve, and what you may like (or not like) about us. Please take advantage of this form as we will try to accommodate what you need.
- Possible CHALLENGES?
* This is only an idea in the making, and I'm still discussing with staff about this new addition to our services. If Caramelesque were to open challenges, would you be willing to participate? Please leave a comment in the ShoutBox!
- SITE HIATUS
* Unfortunately, the staff and I must take a short hiatus. Don't fret - this hiatus will not take place until May 29 and will be lifted on June 7. If you request on the week of May 29, it is likely that your request will not be updated in the Pick Ups section until after the hiatus. Please bear this in mind!

Short update, but there's a reason for me for being rather MIA for a bit. My cousin who was pregnant recently gave birth to a healthy baby boy and I'm really tired after being in and out of the hospital, as well as being out practically all day for the past few days. I've been lacking sleep but I'm the happiest Godmother (yes, Godmother) right now and I hope you all understand. I'll get everything up to date by Monday!

Also, I had actually changed the layout but something went crazy with Blogger and it reverted back to the old one. I'm currently on someone's iPhone, so I'll change it again ASAP. Thanks to everybody for being so patient for your requests and to the staff who are patient with such a bad admin.

And so the day that I change the layout draws nearer (I'm making this sound so dramatic) and I'm sort of excited. Okay, I'm honestly more excited than I really should be, but I can't help it. Despite the fact that school's eating away most of my time, I somehow manage to keep up with Caramelesque and other sites I work at. This is probably because it's such a great stress reliever - not having to think about school work, talking to teachers, studying for tests etc.

Anyway, all requests under my name will now be resumed and I will have them finished as soon as possible. As for requests that were sent in during my short absence have now been processed - please do check the status page as that has been updated as well. That's just about all I have to say so with that, I bid you all goodnight!
